John Jabbs has died
.
I remember John as a tall, friendly young man who always was pleasant and ready to help. He was involved in at least two "exotic" hobbies while at CAHS - astronomy and photography. Believe he also was an Eagle Scout.
While at the Boy Scout Camp Mountain Run in the mid-Fifties, he was our leader in the open-air outdoor shelters where we slept. He had a nice way of helping to keep the noise down. He also had a portable radio which serenaded at night us with Whatever Lola Wants, Naughty Lady of Shady Lane, Lisbon Antigua and other memorable songs of the time.
Rest in peace, John Jabbs. His obituary follows:
- Dennis Mollura
