"HELLO" from Carl Hollopeter!

Message from Sam Lansberry:

Carl Hollopeter stopped by my office about July 2^nd or 3^rd to say “ Hello.” 

Looked good and is in good health. Lives in Auburn, Alabama. Comes home most years on 4th of July holiday for family reunion. Can’t make two trips so he can’t come to class reunion. I  asked.

Retired from Air Force.  Worked at Auburn Univ.  His 2^nd wife teaches there.  1^st wife passed mid-90s. He has his own machine shop and works part-time.

He remembered that the last time we saw each other, we shared a hospital room about 50 years ago. Time flies when you’re having fun!!!

He said he checks the  “Blog” and said to say “Hello” to everyone. So this is it:“  HELLO from Carl!

Class of '59 Picnic To Be Held Aug. 17

As the years roll on, our time together becomes ever more precious.

The Clearfield Area High School Class of 1959 helps keeps the memories and friendships alive with our annual informal summer get-togethers.

Our summer event again this year is an old-fashioned family picnic to be held August 17 in Clearfield.

Date:          Saturday, August 17, 2013

Place:         Knights of Columbus, 512 Arnold Ave, Clearfield.

Time:         We plan to eat around between12 noon and 1 p.m.  Of course, you may choose your own meal time, earlier or later. Plan to come early and stay late.

Dress:        Informal

What to Bring:  Same as last year - picnic lunch, drinks, plates, cups and tableware for you and your guests, and perhaps a dish or dessert to share.

Charcoal Grills with charcoal and lighting fluid will be provided.
