Obituary for Martin Allen Elbell
On Monday morning, August 6, 2018
Martin Allen Elbell joined his Lord and Savior in heaven. Mr. Elbell, the
youngest of 13 children, was born on June 24, 1941 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania
to the late Luther and Cora Smith Elbell. He grew up in the community of
Clearfield, Pennsylvania and graduated from Clearfield High School where he
excelled as a member of the wrestling team. After graduation, Mr. Elbell spent
30 years as a Distribution Technician with the Kiplinger Publishing Company,
from which he ultimately retired. Later in life, he moved to Warner Robins,
Georgia to be closer to family. A devout Catholic, Mr. Elbell faithfully
attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins where he served in the
Knights of Columbus and volunteered for the Christian Service Center.
Mr. Elbell was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Shetler, as well as 3 other sisters and 5 brothers.
Left to cherish Mr. Elbell’s memory are his surviving siblings: Margaret Gross, Rimersburg, MD; Theodore Elbell (Delores), Madisonville, TN; Marcella Turner, Lock Haven, PA; and brother in law, John Shetler of Warner Robins, GA.
A Rosary will be said in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial Mass for Mr. Elbell will take place at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins. Mr. Elbell will be laid to rest in Brickell Cemetery in Rossiter, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to in memory of Mr. Elbell to the Knights of Columbus or the Christian Service Center at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.

Lea E Davidson passed away in Pittsburgh on June 10, 2018. Here is her obituary from The Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
LEA E DAVIDSON, OBITUARY
On Sunday, June 10, 2018; Beloved
daughter of the late Robert and Sara T. Davidson; loving sister of Elinor and
Sanford Zaremberg; aunt of Robert "Robbie" Zaremberg. Lea was an
elementary school teacher for 34 years. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR
CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside, on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Visitation
one hour prior to services 12 Noon - 1:00 p.m. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Shalom, 5915 Beacon Street,
Pittsburgh, PA 15217 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
May she rest in peace.
