Clearfield Area High School

                                    Class of ‘59

Dear Friends,                                                                                              January 19, 2019

This is a “SAVE THIS DATE” letter. The date is Saturday, August 24, 2019. The place is Moena Restaurant, 215 East Market Street in Clearfield. The event is the 60th reunion of the CAHS Class of ‘59’. You think you are too old to attend a 60th reunion? Not so! We will all be  about 78 years young (except I think Herb Maney skipped a year in grade school.) It will be just like graduation when we were all the same age (except Herb of course.)

We have reserved the banquet room at Moena for dinner that night and we hope you will make plans to be there. If your family is having a reunion this summer, perhaps you can persuade them to have it on the same weekend and you can sneak off to your class reunion. We have not selected the menu yet but it will be banquet style with a couple different entrée selections to choose from. We don’t have an exact agenda  for the evening, but we will gather at 5:30p.m. for a chat before the meal so everyone will have a chance to see how many faces they remember. The meal will be served promptly at 6:30p.m. The fee for the meal, including gratuity and tax will be $22.00 per person. We tell you that now so you can save your pennies without sending your budget into a tailspin.  We will send you a reminder in June with a payment slip for your use. Since there is no class treasury, we will need your money ahead of time so we can give Moena a firm count for food preparation.

After the meal, there will be time to visit and a short program and still time to get home or to a hotel during daylight.

Once again, please save August 24th for our 60th reunion. Also, please make an effort to attend. We would love to see you.

Warm regards,
CAHS Class of ’59 Reunion Committee
